This is a revolutionary simplification of extracting energy from a pendulum.
Both weights are exactly the same, their cord is wound around an axle, a gentle push pulls one weight up while the one that was pushed moves down, this generates tremendous torque (on the axle).
To prevent the pendulums from smashing into another we give them both their own cord wound in opposite directions.
The pull on the string of the pendulum is the biggest under an angle of 45 degrees. Measurements of up to 12 times as much pull as the actual Newtonian weight of the pendulum.
